This workshop is a continuation of a partnership between scholars that work in the history of ancient, later, medieval and renaissance mathematics.
We are concerned with the detailed study of the textual as well as the mathematical aspects of mathematical textual scholarship. It draws on the works of historians of mathematics that currently work in the greek, latin and arabic traditions.
We will be studing research related topics such as sources and interpretations, textual evidence, translation, mathematical traditions and mathematical methods.
